Iraq and US Politics

I don't know maybe i am the Rooney of this forum. If so then so be it.

The guy from TN who is on the local stations. Who is Republican and says he agree's with Bush. We have set the Iraq people free.

What have we set them free from? Other than Saddam Hussein? They have what 3-18 people die daily.
Iraqi people mostly and some from the US and other countries, from insurgents.

Their new PM says they are ready to take over and secure the country. Really since when?

Yet 90% say other than Saddam gone, there is no change in their country. If anything it is worse the people are now divided. Why could the US not take out Saddam, with out causing a civil war. This is from the Iraqi people.

What have we exactly freed the Iraq people from? Saddam is gone. They have a government. Yet where is the real freedom?

And when this guy looses his bid. Some one send him the reasons why.

Nah personally im just tired of hearing how well things are going. So how well are they going? And anyone says anything your a liberal. Nothing to do with that. If it was me, we would of blasted Iraq, into small pieces of Rock and been done with the whole mess.
Since im so liberal. I wouldn't. And i won't beat around the bush in saying it.
Other than us pulling Saddam what have we accomplished in Iraq and for the people there. Still dying daily. And a puppet government that two weeks ago, was still building it's army. But as of the new PM their ready to defend the country.
All the US is doing is setting up someone else to have to later remove. In a country that is destroying itself in civil war.
Im just tired of a few who jump others, yet also can't back their leader.
I back him. But i also say when he and others are wrong.

I'm sure things are not perfect in Iraq...I have not been there personally but I think its safe to say though that they are and will be better off with a new government as opposed to the the Saddam Regime. But the main point is not that Iraq will be better off(which they will) it was fundementally necessary that Saddam be removed so that the entire free world would be better off. If you don't believe me just go ask Bill and Hillary what they thought...for that matter go ask just about any democratic Senator what they thought before the war started. The only reason some of them oppose now is because its in their political best interest to do so...same song different verse.
